My Hero Academia: Season 5 Roundup

    Ah yes, the time is here. March 27th marks the return of My Hero Academia with its fifth season. This will serve as a recap up to the season premiere of season 5; so if you are not caught up, be weary of spoilers.

    As shown in the trailers, season five will start with a joint training between class 1-A and class 1-B. The last time we saw the students of class 1-B was in season 2 (I believe lol) and a lot has happened since then. Izuku Midoryia (Deku) has been constantly improving his control of One for All, now being able to use 8% full cowling somewhat effortlessly, 20% full cowling to an extent to use his "Air Force" ranged attacks, and had a mysterious dream or vision of All for One and his brother. It will be interesting to see if that is explained more in season five, and what that could mean for the series going forward. 

    Another milestone that happened was Endeavor had "His Start" as the new number one hero and defeated the High End Nomu with the help of Hawks. He did not leave the battle without taking some serious damage, he now has a scar on his left eye, and was but to the absolute limit just to barely beat the Nomu. Yes he was able to win, but could there be doubt in his ability to be the number one hero, a doubt that All Might never had?

    A storm is brewing in the world of My Hero, and we will have to see if the heroes can manage, or if the students can step up and make a difference. Either way, I am excited and I hope you all are too. Until next time!
